Toaster With Background

 I added a background and it's a picture that I took while I was walking at Bass Lake. I decided to add it because I am deciding between turning my dear toaster into a campfire or making it into a duck and adding ducks in the creek because in a weird way the toaster looks like a duck. Please comment some input, I am indecisive.

    Turn it into a duck! Add baby toaster-lings too! I like how well done the toaster and the background are but they seem separated from each other. Maybe add a shadow to ground the object?

    Hi, Haley!

    I really like your creative ideas for your toaster. Just my two cents, I think it would be beneficial to just play around with both ideas in Illustrator and see which one you like or dislike more. I personally had to do a lot of image searching for my composition to find the perfect picture that fit my composition how I envisioned.

    Hey Haley! I'm really intrigued by the idea of you turning the toaster into a duck, too. When I read that you think it looks like a duck it totally clicked in my mind - I'm not sure how, but I agree! I agree with Maya's comment that a shadow would really mount it to the background and marry the two images together.

  I decided to combine elements from each idea and try to make something more lighthearted because of all the stress from everything going on. I guess the point of this project for me is to just take a moment to relax and just create.
